Nord Star 33+
Right on target. So we want to present the Nord Star 33+ for several reasons. Not least because it strikes a skillful balance between being a rough ice and a very comfortable liveaboard. That this model places itself in the middle of Nord Star’s proud model fleet purely in terms of size is one thing. More important, however, is that it has everything that creates a first-class all-weather boat and family boat in one and the same buoyant material. Part of the secret lies in well-tested and strategically placed step strips that increase driving comfort and minimize hull noise in one fell swoop. Added to this is accessibility and an easy life on board thanks to the large cargo areas, the wide gangways, the side doors and not least – the double glass door at the aft edge of the cabin. Inside, the Nord Star 33+ is a showcase of modern Scandinavian design and ingenious layout. Something that not only makes the boat seem significantly larger than it actually is. It also has the solutions, subtleties and design that testify that they have thought of both one and two extra laps. Solutions that work even when the sea is in its most turbulent mood. Behind the tough facade is thus hidden a full-fledged houseboat with a liberating straight, simple and sober design. A new touch for the Nord Star 33+ Cruiser is that it comes with efficient solar panels as standard and that extra powder has been added to the sleeping cabins in direct comparison to previous models. In the aft of them, the customer is faced with the luxury problem of choosing between two single beds or a double bed. Incidentally, the many options are consistent with the Nord Star 33+. For example, does it come to life to be single or double assembly of engines? Is an extra wardrobe in giant format perhaps preferable to an extra shower space? The choice is yours.
The golden mean
Nord Star 33+ Cruiser As the additional name Cruiser suggests, the 33+ can be had with doors aft, which in practice provides an extra room while the passage between the cabin and the aft deck becomes seamless. Shower or storage? Nordstar 33+ has an extra ace up its sleeve in the form of a much-appreciated shower room or an extra giant-sized wardrobe/walk-in closet. Luxurious owner’s cabin One of the boat’s great talents is the luxurious middle cabin, which can be had with two single or one double bed.
