Nord Star 31+
The question was whether it was possible to create an even better version of the success and bestseller in 30 feet. The answer is yes – and with a reason. Here is the new Nord Star 31+. You can of course take the safe route and settle for a few small refinements when building a sequel. Or, as in the case of the Nord Star 31+, you can aim even higher. Something we are glad they did. Hence the creation of the Nord Star 31+, which has improved the safe sea characteristics, the low consumption and the functional overall with several new grips. An example of this is the new step strips, which quite obviously increase efficiency and dampen hull noise considerably. But it doesn’t stop there. Furthermore, they have magically conjured up the limited space and made the boat feel liberatingly spacious. Not least thanks to wide passages out to the deck via the side doors and the substantial sliding door at the aft edge of the cabin. The list of refinements and improvements then continues with a tough and ergonomically very well designed driver’s seat with dual seats. No matter where you are in the salon, you are offered a magnificent and uninterrupted view in all directions – not to mention what the large light intakes do for the feeling of space on board. Last but not least, it is important not to be fooled by the boat’s tough exterior appearance. Behind the facade hides a very cozy and fully equipped houseboat and holiday home that thrives best when the sea is rough and when other boats stay safely inside the harbor piers.
Quiet drive The well-turned hull in combination with effective sound insulation and strategically placed rungs gives the Nord Star 31+ an exemplary quiet ride even in noisy conditions. Sporty driver’s seat Creating an efficient hull is one thing. At least as important, however, is to shape an ergonomically correct and well-thought-out driver’s seat, which the team behind the Nord Star 31+ has done with honor. Note dual chairs and dual touch screens. Smooth passages In addition to the substantial side doors, the boat also has a substantial sliding door at the stern and a deck that is free from level differences. In other words, it is set up for a smooth existence on board. Pleasant aft deck The solid glass door at the aft edge of the cabin leads seamlessly out to a large aft deck with an L-shaped sofa and a table sheltered by a projecting roof.
